@alinaluvbroadway I think Wet Seal has quite a few girly items actually- their 'floral' prints are particularly pretty :)

If you're still stuck though, then maybe buying some more 'timeless' pieces would be more beneficial for you- think of white tees (for layering/ making low-cut tops more modest) or jewelled flats (for dressing up a basic look).

You could even get creative with your options, by thinking how you might layer them! For example, a normal solid coloured dresses could be worn under a shirt (so that the dress looks like a skirt only), or with a skirt worn on top of the dress (so that the dress looks like a top). You can also wear button-down shirts open (like a jacket), or tucked into skirts/ pants :)

Hope that helps!

Style Advice: Medicatewithtea "Wardrobe Mix Up"
@medicatewithtea I tried to comment on your set with suggestions, but it wouldn't let me :(

You already have quite a cohesive wardrobe scheme, so you just need a few tweaks to make your looks stand out.

For example, I've shown you how pink & yellow flats go with ALL the colours of your wardrobe (teal/ red/ purple/ neutrals)! You can incorporate pink & yellow in other accessories too, if you wish (like bags/ scarves/ jewellery etc)

Another suggestion would be to get creative with your layers- you could layer your long-sleeve tees under your sleeveless shells, your skirts over your tunics, & even your shirts over your tops (knotted or open, like a jacket)! See the set for visuals :)

Here are some more outfit suggestions:
~~ Your white button-up worn open (like a jacket) over your red sleeveless top, with yellow flats?
~~ Your peplum top worn over the black cardigan (nobody needs to know it's a cardi- all they'll see is long sleeves underneath the peplum top!)
~~ Your slouchy grey sweater with a pencil skirt (maybe red)? Half-tuck the sweater in at the front, for a sports luxe feel :)

Different Ways to be Casually Chic (with Old Navy)
Since I've not been using Polyvore much (since the 'ask' section closed down), I figured I'd try to challenge myself by entering a contest (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/contest.show?id=392696) -I've included 5 different ways to wear a casual hoodie, so let me know what you think :)

Style Advice: Brainsnobeauty "Making a Fitted T-shirt More Modest"
@brainsnobeauty If you feel self-conscious in your top, there are lots of ways you can direct attention away from it, & to your other body parts:

~Wearing either a flared skirt or wide leg pants will mask your stomach/ hips/ thighs (make sure it's high-waisted though, so that it doesn't dig in & create muffin top)

~A structured topper (jacket/ blazer/ vest etc) will cover your chest & stomach area- cropped ones will create waist definition. Cardigans are too soft for this look though- it needs to have stiffer materials & shoulders, to camoflague effectively

~Fun accessories will draw the attention elsewhere (a bright hat or makeup brings focus to your lovely face). A long necklace will also make your torso look longer, & minimise your chest

I hope these tips help you! :)

Replacement for the ASK/ Style Advice Section

http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/group.show?id=155518 -Although Polyvore closed down the 'ask' section, let's try to stay positive about it with an 'ask' group! Of course it won't be the same, but the idea is that people submit fashion/ makeup etc question sets, & then others tag them in an answer set (there are competitions as well, to give people's questions more exposure!)

The link is above, if anybody is interested? =] Feedback is always welcome by the way, so don't be afraid to PM me with suggestions for improvement! Happy 'asking' ;]
Style Advice: Ashleyshantelle 'What can I wear my camo jersey shirt with?'
